SUMMARY Under X11, widget explorer becomes semi-transparent when a widget is dragged over it and you can drop the widget under it. However the same can not be done under Wayland. When you drag a widget over the widget explorer, cursor changes to "not-allowed" shape and it's impossible to drop it under the Widget Explorer. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. start Wayland session 2. right click on desktop, select "Add widgets..." 3. try to place a widget under the widget explorer OBSERVED RESULT Cursor changes to "not-allowed" shape and it's impossible to drop the widget under the Widget Explorer EXPECTED RESULT you can drop the widget under the widget explorer SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.55.0 Qt Version: 5.12.1
Can consistently reproduce this with the new widgets explorer.
The widget explorer does become semi-transparent now, but you still can't place a widget under it on Wayland.
