SUMMARY
Support Secure Erase for SSDs

It would be nice if this was supported instead of only being able to format drives

By the way, you can also write random data to partitions, not just format.

(That said it does not replace SSD Secure replace)

True, but that takes time and even wastes write cycles of your SSD. Secure Erase is instant.
