SUMMARY Latte-Dock built from master (commit 4d9f0192c28d23c097e2c4a96bac599500029183) doesn't start. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Clone master. 2. Install Latte. 3. Launch Latte in debug mode. OBSERVED RESULT The dock doesn't open. Moving the cursor near the bottom of the screen results in the following error message in the console: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.latte.containment/contents/ui/main.qml:1156: TypeError: Cannot read property 'visibility' of null EXPECTED RESULT The dock shows up. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0 Qt Version: 5.11.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Tested both on fully updated KDE Neon and Fedora KDE spin installations with the same result.
try the following: latte-dock --default-layout

Go to .config folder and remove any Latte related files, lattedockrc and latte folder 3. Retry latte-dock --default-layout 4. Does latte folder exist in .config folder? 5. are there any layout files in ~/.config/latte folder?
Pulled 4f9d41cec894521073d8609e0a82ead7f83b8515, removed all config files. Still the same error.

I installed a fresh KDE Neon git-unstable VM today, built Latte-Dock, and I can no longer reproduce this issue. Sorry for the delay!
