It is quite common to have a folder where you dump your unsorted music files. It would be tremendously nice to be able to sort these files, when you're browsing a folder, by the date the file was modified in order to get the newest ones on top.

Given the Elisa project has limited capacity to develop this feature, are you able to help with it ? (It could be a code contribution, tests or something else).

Sorting by date was added recently, but it doesn't seem to work for the Files view. Still valid.
