SUMMARY By the date ACDSee only allows to check image color including proofing of thumbnails on the fly. Showphoto could make the same job for free. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. A lot of work to give Showphoto quick start module. 2. Developing of image surfing targeted UI instead of album targeted one. 3. Developing of thumbnail proofing and quick CM settings switch and keep on. Can you take a screencast of ACDSee feature please Gilles Caulier
Created attachment 130559 [details] Screenshots of ACDSee Pro - soft proofing on-the-fly Note that image with two girls shows milky saturated colors when soft proofing for some Epson ICC profile is on. And it is also shown in Manage mode for miniatures. Color management settings are also captured.

(In reply to caulier.gilles from comment #1) > Can you take a screencast of ACDSee feature please > > Gilles Caulier I should also add that ACDSee makes paper color and profile illuminant emulation that looks poorly. And there's no choice there. I've never saw good paper and illuminant emulation, so I recommend you to skip it (this way is default Photoshop mode) or add it as an option. Regards, Aleksei
