STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Wayland session
2. right click on your desktop, select "Add widgets..."
3. click "Get new widgets" button on bottom

OBSERVED RESULT
the menu shows up out of position, see the screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT
the menu is posiitoned correctly.

Does this still happen? I'm on Plasma 5.21.0 here and the menu opens right below the button.

I cannot reproduce with current git master. it works fine for me. Can you check again with your Neon Unstable machine, Patrick?

it's still reproducible on neon unstable too.

This seems to be fixed with git master now. Possibly fixed by a recently backported Qt change too.

Fixed on Arch Linux after update to KDE Qt 5.15.3
