Description Rajeesh K V 2019-02-18 07:43:53 UTC
SUMMARY
I've poppler 0.73 and okular 1.6.0, which sets the configured colour for typewriter annotation tool initially. But if I resize the annotation box or move it around, colour is lost. To depict the issue clearly, see attached screen capture.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set the text colour of typewriter annotation tool to blue
2. Add a long enough text using typewriter annotation text (colour is correctly set to blue)
3. Resize the annotation to show the full text

OBSERVED RESULT
Colour of annotation text is changed back to black.

EXPECTED RESULT
Colour of annotation text remains the same.

1 <- How in the settings? Do you create a new tool or change the existing one?

Create a new tool. (The typewriter tool didn't exist by default).

Comment 5 Yuri Chornoivan 2019-03-06 11:53:33 UTC
Works fine here. The text does not lose its color after resizing.

Poppler 0.74, Okular 1.6.70 (git/master).
Comment 6 Albert Astals Cid 2019-03-06 18:46:23 UTC
I can reproduce (poppler 0.74 and okular 1.6.2) a similar but actually inverse issue.

If i set a typewritter annotation to be red, it'll show up as black the first time and only render as red on the next resize
Comment 7 Rajeesh K V 2019-03-07 08:47:27 UTC
Is it worth mentioning that this manifests on HiDPI screen?
Comment 8 Rajeesh K V 2019-05-23 11:31:56 UTC
With poppler 0.73 and current Okular master (1.7.70), the colour of typewriter annotation is retained even after resizing.
