Created attachment 118145 [details] Screenshot of the timeline SUMMARY It is now difficult to discern where a clip starts and ends on the timeline. There used to be borders or some sort of highlight, but the colors chosen with the default KDE color theme now all blends together. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Throw clips on the timeline OBSERVED RESULT Start and end of clips not easily discernible. EXPECTED RESULT Borders around groups, or higher contrast color, or clip images in clips SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Arch linux, updated on 2019-02 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I added a screenshot of my timeline to show the issue. Where does one clip start and the other end? Which of these clips are groups? The color scheme used to be good, it sucks now. It may look more visually appealing, but it is difficult to do any serious work. Time is wasted looking for borders and clips instead of actually creating.
Confirmed. We should exchange the clip color scheme between breeze and breeze dark/high contrast. Meaning: - light background (breeze): dark clip color scheme. - Dark background breeze dark): light color clip scheme. By switching between breeze and breeze dark/high contrast the audio wave of the first clip gets lost. Thanks for reporting. I opened issue#40 https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/40
Hi there! It's more that the colors, grouping is also not clear. There used to be a red border around grouped clips.
Thanks. "grouped clip should have a red border" -> added to issue #40.
Fixed, thank you very much
