date entered manually in date widget

SUMMARY
When adding a date (birthday) to a contact, the value can be added manually in the pop-up, but it is not taken over into the birthday field


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click calendar selection in birthday field
2. add date manually in lower section
3. Widget is not updated

OBSERVED RESULT
whereever you click, the date is not taken over into birthday - see screenshot

EXPECTED RESULT
hit enter after the date entry - date is taken into birthday
