SUMMARY
The Kickoff application launcher sometimes shows that "Favorites" is the selected tab, even though a different one is currently displayed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kickoff
2. Select a different tab
3. Search something
4. Close Kickoff without clearing the search
5. Open Kickoff again

OBSERVED RESULT
The "Favorites" is selected, but a different one is displayed.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should either display the "Favorites" tab since that's what's selected or it should show that the tab that is currently displayed is selected.

Happens in 5.12.7, 5.14.90 and master too.
