Created attachment 117818 [details] KBIBTEX Crash report
Thank you for reporting this issue. However, the bug report contains too little information, such as lacking a trace at the time of the crash. Maybe the following two pages may be of help to you to get a crash report: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_application_crashed
You did not specify which KBibTeX version you used. In case you are going to produce crash reports, please use a recent version, such as the branch of KBibTeX 0.9. In case there are no recent packages for your distribution, you can try the run-kbibtex.sh script which you can find here: https://cgit.kde.org/scratch/thomasfischer/kbibtex-related.git/tree/run Execute the script as follows: bash run-kbibtex.sh https://anongit.kde.org/kbibtex.git kbibtex/0.9
