Description Denis Lisov 2019-02-04 01:15:14 UTC
Hardware: a laptop with an internal Sierra EM7455 4G modem

Steps to reproduce:
- enable 4G
- suspend
- resume
- wait the ~10s that the modem needs to initialize and show up
- click the "Networks" icon in the tray to open the applet

After these steps the 4G modem is enabled (as it was enabled before suspend), but the "Enable mobile network" checkbox in the popup is disabled, which requires an extra click to disable it if needed.

This happens for X230 with 3G modem for many KDE versions as well. Even the Enable wireless checkbox behaves the same actually. Is it possible that this is a more general issue?

Thanks for the bug report. I'm sorry we weren't able to get to this yet. There have been many fixes and improvements since this was reported, and this issue may have been fixed.

Can you please re-test on your system with Plasma 6.4.5 or later and let us know if you can still reproduce the problem? If you can, please set this report back to REPORTED. Also, please let us know the output of `kinfo`.

Thanks!

I'm using a different device now that never had this problem and in the near future won't have the chance to re-test, sorry.

Ok, thanks anyway! Sorry we weren't able to get it figured out.
