- What I was doing when the application crashed:
resumed from suspend to RAM; normally at this point I get a pop-up "desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset"; when it crashes I believe this pop-up isn't shown but the crash notification instead

- Custom settings of the application:
I'm using the proprietary nVidia driver; currently version 390.87-6 but I suspect this has happened with previous versions as well

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
