Description kde 2019-02-02 13:08:15 UTC
Please add an icon for zstd compression format.
Comment 1 Alex 2020-08-06 23:23:25 UTC
As well as an icon for zstd (application/zstd), there should also be an icon for application/x-zstd-compressed-tar (.tar.zst) similar to other compressed tar icons.

Perhaps the colour could match the zstd icon found at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/facebook/zstd/dev/doc/images/zstd_logo86.png

Hi,

following Alex’s instructions, we could imagine an icon like that (folder and compressed tar icon) ?

For this version, we can make 2 icons. I should mention that in current Breeze icons, we tend to use color to make differences for icons of different compression methods. However, in our upcoming Ocean icon we use letters to connect the format to the file. Review the attached images and let me know if that would work.

Hi Andres, thank you for reply. I have updated the files with both icons versions, breeze and ocean's style. I don’t know if it’s exactly what you thought, otherwise please give me more details. By the way, I had trouble finding the ocean icons package, is it in development? Can we contribute to it? Thanks

Ocean icons are still in design development. That's why they are not findable. However, I can work on these to standardize them and then give you the sizes needed. Someone will need to help us put in the merge request.

Ok, thank you for the explanation. Yes, I’m waiting for your feedback regarding the sizes needed.
