SUMMARY git 0858d79 Colour Selector (Shift + I) Has limited hue range between Cyan and Violet-Blue Also Krita seems to display colours slightly differently even though the ICC profile used for display is the same. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. *as per video 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT There should be a middle hue between cyan and violet-blue but Krita's hue shifts to violet tints almost immediatly. Also for that region, saturation seems to be limited. Using Photoshop CS6 using Adobe RGB 1998 display profile as a reference. Same working profile, same display profile but two different results when picking colours in Krita and PS? Krita colour selector can't pick the same blues as in PS?

Yea that's right, also checked that I haven't enabled Soft Proofing in Krita, or used system Monitor Profile for Krita. Its like theres a blue hue range missing between blues closer to greens and blues closer to violet. Also where this range is supposed to be the saturation seems to be restricted.
Ah, this is caused by those files both using Adobe RGB. The advanced color selector has long since had the issue it cannot select wide gamut colors. If you use the specific color selector, the internal color select(that's the one you get when pressing the dual button at the top), or the small color selector in 4.2 pre-alpha it should be possible. In the meantime, I will mark this bug report as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 343531 ***
