SUMMARY That's probably an bug not related only to Okular, but also to entire GNU/Linux systems, but I didn't checked this. I (I don't know why) remove usb drive with document opened in okular. In next step I order okular to print this document. Printer print empty pages (count of pages was correctly, but the pages were empty) instead of my document. I think that Qt, KDE Frameworks or Okular call some cups helper, giving not existing path and passes number of pages as argument. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run okular by opening pdf document from usb drive 2. Unplug this usb drive 3. Print this document OBSERVED RESULT The printer print empty pages EXPECTED RESULT Okular should check document still exist and warn user if not. If full document was in memory, okular could ask to save it in /tmp and next print. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: MacOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Can you attach a document you had this problem with? Also you totally failed to tell us which okular verison you are using.
