Please give information about your system (help/system information for bug reports), about the number of frames resolution, dimensions, colorspace and channel depth of the file you're experiencing problems with, what you're doing when krita crashes and freezes, and for crashes a crash log: see https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dr_minw_debugger.html#dr-minw for instructions on how to create a useful crash log.

The software version 4.1.7 freezes and crashes and is very buggie at times
