SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Copy a sql command in to the paste buffer. 2. run mysql on the Konsole 3. Paste the command from the buffer (can use right click paste or shift control v) OBSERVED RESULT Missing characters, inserted random characters. The sql command therefore does not work. EXPECTED RESULT All characters are copied as per paste buffer and the sql command works. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION To open this bug page I clicked Launch Bug Report Wizard so all the meta data you require from my installation of the Konsole software should have been passed to this window. If you are missing any information then I suppose oops you didn't pass it.
Could you show such a command and what is actually pasted into Konsole and into other applications, such as Kate/KWrite?
