SUMMARY I did not see a bug for this but I have experienced the issue for some time now and it's rather frustrating. A lot of gtk applications run borderless by default, and those that do cannot be resized in KDE without first manually turning system borders on. The resize handles simply aren't there. Best explained by example: Test case #1: Firefox (All versions) * Screen recording: https://gfycat.com/GrimyDeliciousEasteuropeanshepherd Test case #2: Lutris 5.0-rc3 * Screen recording: https://gfycat.com/IcyPepperyFerret Plenty of other applications exhibit the same behavior, such as gnome-calculator. I'm not sure where to categorize this bug report so please move if necessary.
