SUMMARY
I was reading my emails, and I pressed ctl + T to creat a new task from the message. A window popped out and I filled in the relevant info.
Then I pressed save button and kmail crashed.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. read emails
2. create new task from message
3. Save, and crash

OBSERVED RESULT
Kmail crashed when saving the new task

EXPECTED RESULT
Just create and save a new task on the fly while reading mail

KMail 5.2.3 is very old. Please retry with a recent KMail version. (I can't reproduce the crash locally)
