Description Tim 2019-01-24 10:03:43 UTC
SUMMARY
To allow me to spin up a database service, web app, or electron desktop applications, that run on localhost, but do not want to make public, rather only available to the devices i share other stuff with over KDE connect.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set up a demo website (say off the shelf docker container)
2. login to the desktop with ssh reverse port mapping(s) from a shell on another host (say termux?)
3. use local port on other host to access container service.

OBSERVED RESULT
Can distribute desktop services to all connected devices in a secure, managable and easy way at a very small scale without having to fiddle about too much with plumbing.

EXPECTED RESULT
being able to use my phone to test sites under development on my desktop.
