Description Erik Quaeghebeur 2019-01-23 11:20:15 UTC
SUMMARY
With dark desktop themes, message source view uses black text color on the dark background set by the theme.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set dark theme in desktop
2. View source of message

OBSERVED RESULT
Black-on-almost-black text

EXPECTED RESULT
Light-on-almost-black text as per the theme

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.52.0
Qt Version: 5.11.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can try and fix this, but I'll need some pointers where to start. I've looked at MessageSourceWidget.cpp, but didn't see any background color-related stuff.

Patches which implemented this for the regular message viewer are available at https://gerrit.vesnicky.cesnet.cz/r/#/q/topic:support-dark-themes . I hope that you will be able to implement this.

Trojitá is no longer maintained, please switch to a maintained alternative like https://apps.kde.org/kmail2/

Sorry for the inconveniences.
