Description Fabian 2019-01-22 09:18:56 UTC
SUMMARY
If powerdevil, for what ever reason, is not running and you open the Power Management SySe you get a warning message, that powerdevil is not running.

This warning message never goes away, even if you exit the power devil SeSe and navigate to a different SeSy like "Look and Feel".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Stop powerdevil
2. Open system settings
3. Open "Power Management" -> warning message
4. Go to an unrelated system setting like "Look and Feel"

OBSERVED RESULT
The warning does not disappear. You can not click anywhere in the newly opened SySe

EXPECTED RESULT
The warning message should disappear if you leave the Power Management SySe.

This is fixed by Jakob Petsovits with https://invent.kde.org/plasma/powerdevil/-/commit/8babe3530c32feb60e982eccd92fe2341091858d in Plasma 6, which re-does the entire UI and doesn't suffer from this issue anymore.
