Trying to select more history than what is shown changes initial selection. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a new terminal 2. Create a history longer in lines than the window's height. 3. Select a couple of lines from the bottom of the window 4. Scroll the window a couple of "pages" up 5. With Shift pressed, click on any part of the window OBSERVED RESULT The original selection changes, now starting in where it was just clicked, but ending in a line at the bottom of the shown windows. The whole selection is included in the current shown lines. EXPECTED RESULT The original selection should change, now starting in where it was just clicked, but ending at the end of the original selection. The whole selection is across history lines that are larger than what the current window shows. NOTE: the similar behaviour happens if you start the selection in the beginning of the history, scroll down, shift+click in a lower part... Did you build Konsole from source using git master? If this bug is present on 18.12.1, fixing it is an emergency!
