Description Edward Torvalds 2019-01-20 08:46:32 UTC
SUMMARY
After some time of usage, some QT based applications like qTox, qBittorrent go completely empty, they don't show their window but a single colour. This does not happen on first launch but after some time of usage.
I am not a developer so please help me out if I am missing some information. Thanks

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch qTox, qBittorrent
2. (use for some time)
3. (window goes total blank)

OBSERVED RESULT

Should see the content of window and should be able to interact.

Does changing compositor options make a difference? Use "kcmshell5 kwincompositing".

currently my compositor is using opengl 3.1 and vsync set to automatic. I tried changing these settings but did not help (while the window was blank)

launching the application _after_ changing compositor to use opengl 2 also did not help

5.14 is quite old. If the issue is still present, reopen the bug report and provide the requested info.
