SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Choose force skip taskbar from app rules in arrangement tab (for new rule)
2. potentially also initially minify
3. use present all desktop effect

OBSERVED RESULT
windows that skipped the taskbar are shown as empty windows

EXPECTED RESULT
for them to be not displayed

Please select the option Always for keeping thumbnails in the compositor settings. This option is meant as a workaround for this X11 limitation.

I meant that windows that are suppose to run in background when minimized and go to the right side of taskbar, or are just sent there by starting them minimized and skip taskbar rules shouldn't show up when presenting windows.

Present windows is not a taskbar. Please use the skip switcher window rule instead.
