SUMMARY As a UX issue after clicking the Discover Updater from the systray when it advises there are updates, it correctly opens Discover itself to the updates page. However it then proceeds to check for updates. From a UX perspective this seems quite counter-intuitive, I know there's updates, the system knows there's updates, so why is it checking again? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Wait for updater to show that there are updates available. 2. Click on the updater button to install updates. OBSERVED RESULT Discover checks for updates. EXPECTED RESULT Discover shows the updates available to install. Yep. This has been brought up before and it's apparently tricky to resolve. But I totally agree. It does seem odd that the updater would have an up-to-date list of updates, only for Discover itself to check again. I'll re-open the bug I'm going to mark this as a dupe of. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 398237 ***
