SUMMARY Built from current source as of 30 minutes prior to this bug report. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Import mp4 clip. (software or hardware encoded) 2. Video takes full program window space with a blue tint over it. 3. Cannot restore the editor. Need to restart KDEnlive. I can confirm, but that's a movit only (GPU acceleration) issue. You can solve it by disabling it in Kdenlive Settings > Playback. One developer is currently looking at movit stuff trying to fix and improve it.

For the hardware accel. Thanks for the fix in the meantime!
