I'm using yakuake and sometimes I have nano opened. Well, when you will go from halfscreen to fullscreen, programs like nano will remain halfscreen.
I'm able to reproduce the issue only when you login in kde via an user foo, and on the terminal you will switch on another user with e.g.: 'su - bar' and then use nano.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login into kde with an user
2. login on the yakuake shell as another user
3. open nano
4. pass from halfscreen to fullscreen

OBSERVED RESULT
Nano will remain halfscreen (see screenshot)

EXPECTED RESULT
Nano will go fullscreen
