ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Kdenlive 18.12.1 is crashing after clicking on project tab. The program freezes and close.

follow this steps: https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Windows_Issues#Kdenlive_crash_or_green_Monitor

If Kdenlive still crashes, please check if you get a crash log: hit Windows-key+r -> eventvwr -> in the Event Viewer -> check the log inside Critical and Error. Post the error which Kdenlive is involved.

The ExceptionCode 0xc000041d may occur due to “due to early thread created by app“. 

Make sure you set processing thread in Kdenlive to 1: CTRL+SHIFT+, (comma) -> environment -> Processing thread -> set to 1. 

Right click and start Kdenlive as administrator.

Please test whether this is still happening with a current version (https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and the tips above.
