SUMMARY

Proxy clips on stabilized .mlt files have issues. They are not automatically added, and when added manually renders to a white screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Stabilize a clip in the project bin with the clip job stabilize.
2. Enable proxy clip for the stabilized clip
3. Drag stabilized clip to timeline
4. Render

Yes the VidStab2 is an issue because this effect is deprecated https://sourceforge.net/p/mlt/bugs/252/ and we should use vidstab instead: https://www.mltframework.org/plugins/FilterVidstab/ .

This issue is mostly fixed, but there is still the issue of the proxy not displaying.

Please try with 19.08.2 to see if the proxy display issue still exists.

Issue has been fixed, proxies on .mlt display fine
