I can't confirm.
alt+u works with konsole 18.12.2 on Arch Linux.
Comment 2 Mariusz Glebocki 2019-02-20 22:22:06 UTC
Works here as well.

What is selected in right click → edit profile settings → keyboard?

Does alt+u works in other graphical terminal emulators, e.g. xterm, gnome-terminal?
Comment 3 Justin Zobel 2020-10-23 02:06:42 UTC
I've just tried this on Solus with Konsole 20.08.1 and I can't get Alt + U to uppercase anything.

Tried all the Keyboards in Profile > Keyboard too.

Operating System: Solus 4.1
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2
Kernel Version: 5.6.19-159.current
OS Type: 64-bit

Tried in gnome-terminal, and TTY2, doesn't work there either.

Tested on KDE Neon Dev Edition.

Thanks for the video Carlos. It appears I didn't understand that you need to be on the word you want to change to uppercase. I was using it at the end of the line expecting the whole line to change.

I can confirm this works for me in Konsole, Gnome Terminal and TTY now.

ibra, can you please confirm if this issue is still affecting you?
