Image of request

Hi. I am new to this KDE forum. I'm posting a 'request', but not sure if this is the right place (to put it in 'bugs').

I am a new user to ocular pdf viewer, i like it. But i am missing a function that is present in Evinde pdf viewver.
In want to view a pdf document in "Single view mode", And i also want to scroll as much with my scrolling wheel on my mouse down the page much as i want but not going to next page. This is not possible in okular.

But this is possible in Evince, so if you are unsure take a loot at that software: (attachment)

Here you can see that Continuos are unchecked and i am able to scrolls with the wheel much as i want and not going to net page without press the button or arrows.

But this is not the case in okular. Please i beg you, okular is near perfect, it is smooth and fast, allows inverted colors, allows expandning bookmarks,, if i press a bookmark it stays in the zoom level fit to width and not changes back to Outzoom, but i miss this feature. Can you add this setting?

Okular has the same settings:

Check View > Page Width
Uncheck View > Continuous

In this state, it will stop at the end of the page and only another scroll tick will move to the next page.

No, its not the same setting.

If i use

Check View > Page Width
Uncheck View > Continuous

In Evince, and if i scroll down the page. I stop at the bottom of the page how matter much i scroll. Only pressing a bottom (next) or arrow (next) will let me go to the next page. This is what i want. This is not the case in okular, here i scroll down to the next page like it was Continuous mode.

Yeah Nate didn't read what you wrote carefully enough i think.

Now honestly i don't think that what you're requesting makes much sense, but since Evince does it and you also want it, i guess there's at least two people in the world that think it makes sense :D

I understand that you didn't see any sense in this function, because i didnt say why i wanted it. :)

The reason is that when i read a pdf file (textbook) more deeply i want to concentrate on The page, i usually using the scroll when going up and down and on the specific page (also it is sort of a habit). But when there is no scroll stop at the bottom i loses controll because it changes to the next page.

Lose controll is especially true if i am in "Single page", (but also in continious mode) it is really hard to read at the lower half of the page whitout change the page.

My request let me decide fully when to change page (via buttons etc). This make it more easier to deeply concentrate on reading a book whitout going crazy because the scrolling going up and down all the time..

It's acually very common in pdf/ereader apps on android. (for ex xodo). And this is the standard view if you look at jpg files that have text (for ex Faststone images).

If you would add an additional setting that would be great.
