Screenshot of active line in console with both states of blinking block cursor

SUMMARY
There's a constantly displayed line on the left side of the cursor. I have its style 'block' and blinking, so I attach both states of cursor. The line does not disappear after changing a theme or a shell.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This should already be fixed by https://cgit.kde.org/konsole.git/commit/?h=Applications/18.12&id=b48ecb5712037027e6385515c9eced7fabfc3dc3 (to be in 18.12.1) I think.
At least I cannot reproduce it with 18.12.0 plus this patch...

I also submitted that patch to openSUSE Tumbleweed 2 weeks ago, but there hasn't been a new snapshot yet.
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/660496
Should probably appear in the next days though.

So today finally a new snapshot was released, including the konsole update with the mentioned fix.

Can you please update and report back whether your problem is fixed?
Thanks.

Konsole version is still 18.12.0 but the issue seems to be fixed after the update.

Yes, as I was trying to point out that is 18.12.0 plus the mentioned fix from 18.12.1 (which was released upstream just today, so cannot be in that Tumbleweed snapshot 20190108 yet... ;-) ).

Thanks for the confirmation, closing as fixed then.
