Description Rik 2019-01-06 00:45:29 UTC
SUMMARY
when an additional external monitor is hooked up to the system (eg with a laptop and an extra screen), the timeout battery settings do not seem to work. Eg my battery settings are to suspend after 30 minutes, which works when i am using just my laptop, but when i add an additional external screen via HDMI, the system logs out after 5min, and there seems to be nothing i can do to change that (the settings remain to show 'suspend after 30min').

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install KDE neon package on laptop
2. set battery settings to suspend or log out after a longer time, eg 30min
3. hook up a tv via HDMI as a 2nd monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
system logs out after 5min or so

EXPECTED RESULT
system suspends after 30min
