Created attachment 117248 [details] see the left buttom of the GUI marked in red. The text is not readable. SUMMARY Korganizer on Ubuntu 18.10 does not display the "Personal Calendar", "Anniversaries & Birthdays", etc., in the left buttom of the Journal View correctly. The line spacing seems to be at odds for the treeview, or whatever control should be displayed. I cannot select my calendar (std.ics) file because the display is not readable (see screenshot). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open korganizer 2. select Journal View 3. OBSERVED RESULT The left buttom of the GUI is screwed up. EXPECTED RESULT It should be readable SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Ubuntu 18.10 Windows: MacOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: 5.11.1 and 5.11.2 (none works). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The About Korganizer-> Libraries shows this information: KDE Frameworks 5.50.0 Qt 5.11.2 (built against 5.11.1) The xcb windowing system
I am posting a work-around/fix for the current version of korganizer shipped with Ubuntu 18.10. Ubuntu uses the Adwaita icon scheme as its default. This theme does not have the icons needed by korganizer. I switched to the oxygen theme, and installed the related packages via apt: sudo apt install oxygen-icon-theme install oxygen-icon-theme-complete kde-style-oxygen. Now korganizer finds most of the icons. (a restart might be required), and the buttom left part of the gui appears alright
