We will need a backtrace with debugging symbols to understand the nature of that crash.
Comment 2 Johannes 2019-01-05 12:36:28 UTC
Let me know how to create a backtrace with debugging symbols.
Comment 3 Jan Kundrát 2019-01-05 15:42:08 UTC
Hi Johannes, this depends on where you obtained Trojita. If it's from the OBS packaging, you should be able to install some -debuginfo packages and then run Trojita from within a debugger. Please consult your distribution's documentation for further details. It is possible that there's some automatic infrastructure (the `abrt` daemon, etc), but I am not familiar with these, sorry.

There is now a downstream bug report automatically filed by ABRT: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1728177
which contains a backtrace with debugging info:

Comment 7 Christoph Cullmann 2024-09-23 18:50:46 UTC
Trojitá is no longer maintained, please switch to a maintained alternative like https://apps.kde.org/kmail2/

Sorry for the inconveniences.
