SUMMARY If a directory gets renamed, and within 2 seconds gets expanded, it disappears. A refresh shows it again, so the directory is not deleted. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use tree view 2. Open SFTP location 3. Rename a compacted directory 4. Immediately after confirming the new name (hit Enter), expand the directory (using the right arrow button). OBSERVED RESULT The directory disappears from the view. EXPECTED RESULT The directory to be expanded as if done locally. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 29 KDE (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.52.0 Qt Version: 5.11.1
Directory also disappears if it is expanded while it gets renamed.
I cannot reproduce this behavior when following your steps. Does this problem still exist for you with a newer version of Dolphin (18.12.3 should be available in Fedora Updates)? SYSTEM INFO Dolphin 19.07.70 Operating System: KDE neon Testing Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.58.0 Qt Version: 5.12.0 Kernel Version: 4.18.0-18-generic
I cannot reproduce this anymore in 18.12.2. Thank you.
