ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Halla Rempt 2018-12-28 16:10:24 UTC
Could you give a bit more information and perhaps add a test file that can be used te reproduce the issue?

* Please add the information from help/system information for bug reports
* Please tell us what color model, channel depth, image dimensions and number of layers you are working with
* Please be more explicit about what you mean with "modify transparency masks using effects".

It could also be very useful to see a crash log. See https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dr_minw_debugger.html#dr-minw for more information.

Comment 4 Halla Rempt 2019-01-06 10:37:42 UTC
Could you please delete that crash log and follow the mingw instructions to create a new one with debug information. Could you also check whether you can enable GPU acceleration?
Comment 5 wolthera 2019-04-08 15:41:59 UTC
Hi, can you follow boud's instructions? We really cannot fix this bug without more info... (Or check if it still happens with the latest 'krita next' from the downloads page...)
