SUMMARY
With multiple desktops, clicking the Application Launcher on Desktop 1 results in it opening for less than a second and then closing.  It works fine on Desktops 2-4


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install KDE using apt-get
2. Make multiple desktops
3. Click on launcher icon on Desktop 1

OBSERVED RESULT
Launcher only opens for a moment, then closes again.

EXPECTED RESULT
Open and stay open until I can choose something.

Linux/KDE Plasma:

KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.7
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0
Qt Version: 5.9.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hardware is intel NUC, i3-7100U, 8GB memory

Cannot reproduce in Plasma 5.14.x or git master. Assuming it's been fixed since then.
