Description Rainer Dorsch 2018-12-26 10:43:17 UTC
SUMMARY
I recently get a complaint by a kmail user, that kmail does not send mail even he is pressing the send button. At a first glance looked also weired to me, since simply nothing happened after pressing send.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a message
2. Leave To/Cc/Bcc fields empty
3. Press send

OBSERVED RESULT

Nothing happens at all.

EXPECTED RESULT

A message saying that message cannot be sent if no recipients are specified.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian buster, kernel version 3.18
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.3
KDE Frameworks 5.51.0
Qt 5.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I think this functionality was present in an earlier version of kmail, but seems to be broken right now.
