Created attachment 116875 [details] LibreOffice running with global menu showing that I'm using just one plasmoid and not two (it's the same panel in two different screenshots. I just put them together with GIMP.) SUMMARY It shows the menu of LibreOffice twice instead of once. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use global menu 2. Open LibreOffice 3. Check the global menu SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro 18.0.0 Illyria, x86_64 Linux 4.14.85-1-MANJARO (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: Plasma 5.14.4 KDE Frameworks Version: KDE 5.52.0 Qt Version: Qt 5.11.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I use kwin_x11.
OK, I have no idea of why but it didn't happen anymore. I'm not sure if I should keep this bug open or not.
(In reply to moshpirit from comment #1) > OK, I have no idea of why but it didn't happen anymore. I'm not sure if I > should keep this bug open or not. OK, it happens when I open LibreOffice and from there I open a recent file. So the bug is still here.
Let's re-open it for further inspection.
When I run these commands from the terminal: + libreoffice -> bug does not happen + libreoffice --calc -> bug happens libreoffice 6.2.0.3-1.1 on openSUSE Tumbleweed.
I can reproduce this issue as well using the latest versions of Global Menu and LibreOffice.
Are those menus identical or does one behave better (radio buttons, icons, etc) compared to the other?
(In reply to Kai Uwe Broulik from comment #6) > Are those menus identical or does one behave better (radio buttons, icons, > etc) compared to the other? When open Libre Writer: - The left menu: all items can be expanded, but all items are disabled until you change the focus to another window then come back. "File" works normally. - The right menu: All items work normally, except "File" After you minimized then restored it: - The left menu: all items work normally. - The right menu: all items work normally.
I am having the same bug. Plasma 5.14.5 on Debian

Seems fixed in latest Archlinux build (libreoffice-fresh 6.2.0-3) https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/libreoffice-fresh&id=860931081f728e40d566156f412a68f1946caa21

The issue still happens is you switch to the gtk3_kde5 VCL (which will be still widely used seeing how buggy the kde5 VCL is in 6.2.0)
This bug has gone in LO-6.2.1.2 / openSUSE Tumbleweed. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122287
