OK, I have no idea of why but it didn't happen anymore. I'm not sure if I should keep this bug open or not.

OK, it happens when I open LibreOffice and from there I open a recent file. So the bug is still here.

Let's re-open it for further inspection.

When I run these commands from the terminal:
+ libreoffice -> bug does not happen
+ libreoffice --calc -> bug happens

libreoffice 6.2.0.3-1.1 on openSUSE Tumbleweed.

I can reproduce this issue as well using the latest versions of Global Menu and LibreOffice.
Comment 6 Kai Uwe Broulik 2019-02-11 07:46:59 UTC
Are those menus identical or does one behave better (radio buttons, icons, etc) compared to the other?

When open Libre Writer:
- The left menu: all items can be expanded, but all items are disabled until you change the focus to another window then come back. "File" works normally.
- The right menu: All items work normally, except "File"

After you minimized then restored it:
- The left menu: all items work normally.
- The right menu: all items work normally.

Same issue on a new Archlinux install.

Duplicate global menu with libreoffice-still & fresh version.

KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.55.0
Qt Version: 5.12.1

Issue with still version:
Version: 6.1.5.2
Build ID: 6.1.5-2

same with fresh version:
Version: 6.2.0.3
Build ID: 6.2.0-2

Seems fixed in latest Archlinux build (libreoffice-fresh 6.2.0-3)

No - the latest Archlinux build simply adds the 'kde5' VCL, which is then used by default in Plasma sessions. The issue still happens is you switch to the gtk3_kde5 VCL (which will be still widely used seeing how buggy the kde5 VCL is in 6.2.0)

This bug has gone in LO-6.2.1.2 / openSUSE Tumbleweed.
