Comment 1 blackfireburn 2018-12-17 19:17:03 UTC
I have test in my neon but unsure if i am testing correctly.
do you mean create an event and then change the date of the event under edit.
then the event icon is meant to move to the new date?

in my box it does move correctly by changing the date above.
Comment 2 Claus-Peter Brockmann 2018-12-17 19:39:21 UTC
It was a recurring weekly appointment (Thursday) (Google Calendar)
one of these dates was moved one day before (Wednesday), same time.
Under Show you could see this change, in the Korganizer he stayed
but Thursday.

Unfortunately my wife deleted the change, so I couldn't look it up any further
Sorry

Thank you for your help
Comment 3 blackfireburn 2018-12-17 19:43:46 UTC
tried creating a reoccurring event then changing the date under edit and it moved correctly and moved all reoccurring events.
Could you tell me if you were using a remote calendar like google or something?

Thanks
Comment 4 Claus-Peter Brockmann 2018-12-17 20:10:21 UTC
The change in Google Caldendar will take place via mobile phone Huawei P10 (Android 8.0)
There was only this one appointment, in which weekly appointment(s) changed, all other recurring appointments will continue to be displayed correctly.

I think this bug is fixed now (I was able to reproduce it last year).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a recurring event on the Google calendar web interface (every week on the same day)
2. Add Google Calendar to Korganizer (Settings > Configure Korganizer > General > Calendars > Add > Google Groupware > Configure
3. check that the recurring event you created on Google Calendar web interface is shown in Korganizer
4. Go to the Google Calendar web interface again, and change the time of a single occurrence of the recurring event (it will allow you to select this option while saving changes)
5. Check that the change is applied in the Google Calendar web interface
6. Now open Korganizer, right-click on the Google Calendar entry in the sidebar, and click 'update folder'

OBSERVED RESULTS
The changed time of the single occurrence is correctly shown (earlier, it would not be updated, just as this bug report mentions).
