chrome with clickable mute overlay.

I keep clicking on the mute/sound status overlays in the icons when I am trying to select a window from the dock. Most of these clickable overlays are pretty useless (does one really need to toggle volume from the dock for each specific app? The dock isn't an audio mixer).


I think default behavior should be to hide these overlays or make them non-clickable. Or at least make this an option.

Let me know if this should be filed upstream instead.

Isnt that the Tasks->Show indicator for audio streams?

This is already supported from Tasks options
