Description Mathieu MD 2018-12-10 11:55:50 UTC
SUMMARY
When exporting images from DigiKam to Imgur as logged-in user, it's not possible to select a destination album from the Imgur account.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select images in DigiKam
2. Click on "Export to Imgur"
3. Click on "Send" to login and upload

OBSERVED RESULT
Images are uploaded to Imgur without being added to any album.

EXPECTED RESULT
There could be a popup asking if I want to add them to a given Imgur album, and if yes pick which. Optionnaly even offering to create one on the fly.
Maybe should it be also possible to specify a different album for each images independently?

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.9.0
(available in About System)
KDE Frameworks 5.49.0
Qt 5.11.2

Mathieu,

Can you test with the current digiKam 6.0.0-beta3 AppImage bundle for Linux to see if problem still exists with Imgur export tool ?

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

Warning : Make a digiKam database backup before to use 6.0.0 as it create ne table which will make a got back to digiKam 5.9.0 impossible.

Thanks in advance

We need a fresh feedback on this file using this version.

Thanks in advance
