SUMMARY
Need of having at least a simple ellipse or square variation to cover faces or cars number-plates at photos by colour or veil.

Add the effect „alpha shapes“ on the clip. Choose Rectangle or Ellipse. On the bottom switch to Subtract. Background will always be black.

According to the new "DSGVO" there is need to cover Faces by veil.

Face blur, face detect doesn’t exist anymore use Auto Mask.

This filter is broken and has been removed from Kdenlive during the effect clean up task. You can read more about the task here: https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/350
