SUMMARY
Multiple entries generated in Application launcher menu after installing Krita in Kubuntu 18.04, 18.10

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Kubuntu 18.10 - fresh full install

2. Install Krita from Discover (any version after April-2018)

3. Application launcher activated on desktop by clicking middle mouse button.
  In submenu GRAPHICS: multiple (>10)entries of "Krita" and multiple entries of "Okular". Also new item: "KIPI plugins".   In submenu SYSTEM: multiple entries of "Discover"
 
4. After uninstalling KRITA, multiple entries of Okular, Discover and "KIPI plugins" item remained

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KUBUNTU 18.10 
KDE Plasma Version:  15.14.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.52.0
Qt Version: 5.11.1
KRITA of any version after April-2018

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Observed also on fresh KUBUNTU 18.04LTS (no additional apps were installed). 
Installation ISO taken from official site. Type of installation - full

Noted that only installation of KRITA produce this trouble
Also - no problems in menu of application launcher, when it is activated by KDE-icon in taskbar

Sorry, but this is a bug in the application launcher. It is disregarding the NoDisplay=true statement in the desktop files. See also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403194
