Description Mitchell McClure 2018-12-08 02:51:03 UTC
SUMMARY
Syncing Google Calendar with KOrganizer does function, but when a single instance of a repeated item is deleted from Google's Calendar, all instances of said item are deleted from KOraganizer

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. From a browser open your Google Calendar.
2. Choose a repeating meeting from recent past to delete.
3. When deleting choose "This Event Only".

OBSERVED RESULT
The expected result in Google Calendar happens. Only that event is deleted, while its repeated entries are left as-is. In KOrganizer ALL entries of said event are deleted.

EXPECTED RESULT
One would expect KOrganizer's behavior to duplicate Google Calendar's behavior.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0
Qt Version: 5.9.5

First, thanks for bringing up this bug. I thought my problem was caused by something wrong with my setup.

One thing added to the "STEPS TO REPRODUCE" No. 2: it does not have to be envet from "recent past" but any event in the same series being deleted from Google Calendar will cause the whole series disappear from KOrganizer. Both updating and refreshing cannot bring the remaining events in Google Calendar up in KOrganizer.

I am currently using KDE Applications 18.12.2. And,
```
cnzhx@ostp:~> korganizer --version
korganizer 5.10.2
```
