Created attachment 116740 [details] discover search results on a 4k monitor SUMMARY When using a 4k monitor the screen space is not optimally used in the Discover results window. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. use a 4k screen with scaling set to 1x 2. open Discover, search for an application to install and click on one of the results once OBSERVED RESULT Notice how the column with the search results is not taking advantage of the large space available in the screen; the descriptions are all cut short while the panel with the description of the selected application is needlessly big EXPECTED RESULT The screen space is used in a better way with a better balance between results column width and description panel width. I'd say at least 1/3 of the available horizontal space? SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 28, Linux 4.19.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.52.0 Qt Version: 5.11.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Screen resolution: 4k (3840x2160)
Can you take a picture of your set up so we can understand how you use it? It seems like the set up needs scaling otherwise.
Can't proceed until I understand the issue.
