The translations of the button strings are provided by Qt. Do you have the Qt translations installed, e.g. on a debian based system the packages is named qttranslations5-l10n and the translation catalogs are installed in /usr/share/qt5/translations/ Please run "locate _fr.qm" in a terminal and check that you have qt translations like e.g. qtbase_fr.qm installed

I just tested with digiKam 6.0.0-beta3 AppImage Linux Bundle which include all GUI translations files, and all work as expected. All is properly translated everywhere. Gilles Caulier
